The autumn season may not be the usual point in the cycle to restart one's energy but I can't think of a better time for me; the fall being my favourite time of the year. That being said; I actually have a new piece to share in my gallery - a customized mask that I've just finished. This was a project that I accepted some time ago through a friend on Myspace; it is for her Gothic/Edwardian style wedding which will take place later this month. At some point during the ceremony, the groom will be donning this Raven Mask - I can't wait to see photos of the wedding!
Next...we all know what's just around the corner...Hallowe'en! My personal favourite festivity of the year!! And here's an early treat - a fellow artist has graciously gathered several talented artists to take part in a virtual Hallowe'en Artist Studio Tour. Soft sculpture artist, Karen Waschinskik, of Scratching At the Window [link] who I met in person at the Guelph Faery Festival, kindly invited me to take part in the tour. Enjoy having a look around - I have a small dragon sculpture available for purchase there myself, but you might have to search a bit to find it! One really great thing - benefits from this virtual Hallowe'en tour go towards "Bat Conservation International."

Have fun touring around and in the meantime, enjoy the harvest season!
